COP30 in Belém: Scriptoria amplifies climate champions and nature-based solutions
COP30 is here and it is going to be a tough one: climate champions have gathered with intense urgency to work on some of the thorniest issues to sprout in the 10 years since Paris. Whether rallying adaptation finance, securing tropical forest survival or number-crunching Nationally Determined Contributions, none of the tasks are simple.
Scriptoria’s clients are in Belém with something to share, and backed by our strategic communications services, they are reaching audiences that share their hopes. Here at the 1.5°C tipping point, communicating climate action is more crucial than ever – especially communicating solutions and successes.
Climate pathways through nature
Here’s one project we can already reveal: at an official side event on Monday 18 November, the ENACT Partnership – a growing network led by Egypt, Germany and IUCN – will launch its flagship NbS Accelerator Pathways Report. Through expert communications support, Scriptoria helped to ensure clarity in the report’s alignment with COP30’s call for solutions-oriented action and systemic transformation. This is a soon-to-be-landmark publication for a milestone COP because it articulates concrete pathways to scale up nature-based solutions for the climate.
We are thrilled to see the Pathways Report bring practical, scalable solutions to COP30 that open up routes through a difficult juncture. Nature-based solutions are a prominent topic of ours at the moment, and they are so essential to communicate right. We are proud to help IUCN and the ENACT Partnership accelerate the incorporation of nature into systemic climate action.
