Emily is a member of both Scriptoria’s Consulting and Training teams, where she uses her flexible skillset to support knowledge management across a range of international development and research projects. As a trainer, Emily equips researchers with the skills needed to excel in effective writing, grant development and clear communication with non-specialist audiences. As a consultant, Emily specialises in developing data-driven project management tools and dashboards designed to amplify the impact of research efforts.  

Emily earned her PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Leeds. With over a decade of experience, she has led multidisciplinary projects in human health, disease and drug discovery. Her contributions include several peer-reviewed publications and presentations at international conferences. Passionate about making science accessible, Emily has also spearheaded a wide array of outreach programs to engage diverse audiences and foster public understanding of complex scientific topics.
